The 2025 Kids Win Fishing Tournament at The Wharf brought young anglers, Gulf Coast families and community partners together for a day with an unforgettable finish. As the tournament concluded in Orange Beach, four-year-old Ada of Bay Minette learned that her wish for a family pontoon boat had been granted.
Ada had faced a rare eye cancer, and her wish focused on something joyful and lasting: time outdoors with the people she loves. The new pontoon gave her family a place to celebrate her journey, explore the water together and build memories well beyond the day of the presentation.
The boat was perfectly named “Sea Ya L’Ada.” In public coverage from Make-A-Wish Alabama and local news organizations, Ada climbed aboard with confidence while volunteers, sponsors and families gathered around the event at The Wharf. The tournament, presented by Rouses Markets, also generated a $28,500 contribution to Make-A-Wish Alabama.

Projects like this draw on the same practical preparation, attention to detail and commitment to safe family boating that our team brings to customers every day—but the purpose behind this delivery made it especially meaningful.
